CAPM Community of Practice

This note is to let you know that the DC Chapter of PMI is developing a CAPM Community of Practice for the Washington, DC area. This community will offer a variety of communication venues intended to encourage the knowledge exchange among those holding the CAPM credential and/or those exploring the pursuit of it. Initially, these communication venues are taking the form of e-mail lists (such as this one), a website (currently under development), and occasional announcements in the chapters newsletter.

PgMP Credential Announcement

PMI is proud to announce that the Program Management Professional (PgMPSM) Credential will be made available to the public as of October 1, 2007! With project managements growing implementation around the world and across industries, PMI continues its leadership in credentialing by launching PgMP for the community of program managers.

Two years in the making, the credential is now fully tested and has met PMIs strenuous acceptance criteria to take its rightful place in PMIs family of credentials.
